Do you have a desire and willingness to help others? Have you always wanted to give back to the community in some way? Consider joining our team!
Firefighting is so much more than running into burning buildings. There is room for all kinds of positions. Support is needed on and off the fireground including but not limited to administrative duties, fundraising, educational programs, community outreach programs, rescue, and firefighting.

Requirements
-You must reside within 2 miles of our station.
-All training and equipment will be provided free of charge.
-All applicants that are accepted will be under a probationary period during which time they must complete a basic training course.
-Must be able to pass a child clearance check from the PSP.
-Must be able to pass a PSP Criminal history check. (No felonies or charges of arson)
-Must possess a willingness to work well with others and to help those who are in need of our service.
-Applicants 18 and older can apply to be a firefighter
-Applicants 16 and 17 can apply to be a Junior Firefighter with parent permission. All junior applicants will be governed by the junior firefighting guidelines set forth in the Commonwealth of PA
