Requirements
-Qualifications include the ability to learn firefighting skills, administer first aid, apparatus and equipment maintenance, etc.
-Must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
-Must be able to perform and pass the Department agility test or a basic medical exam provided by the City of Woodward.
-Must be accepted into the Oklahoma State Firefighters Pension and Retirement System.
-Must be willing to attend Volunteer Fire meetings and respond to emergency calls.
-Must be able to pass background screening.
-Must be able to pass drug/alcohol screening.
-Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and possess driving record acceptable to city’s insurance carrier.
