Gearhart Fire Department covers 29 Square miles. We are operated by 2 stations (main and sub) 2 Engines, 1 Tender, 2 brush rigs, 1 rescue, support vehicles. New recruits will attend a twice yearly recruit academy where they will gain the beginning knowledge to get their entry level Fire Fighter Certification.
