The Duncan Rural Volunteer Fire Department is an all volunteer department. We cover about 110 square miles in Platte and Polk counties in Nebraska. Our average call load is currently around 35 per year. Majority of our calls are for smaller incidents such as grass and field fires. We also respond to a number of vehicle accidents as well as assisting on medical calls.
