Volunteer Firefighters are individuals who live and/or work in the community (or nearby) and volunteer their time to serve the community as a fire fighter. Volunteer Firefighters are assigned safety equipment and pagers, and respond from home or work to the scene of emergencies. Volunteer Firefights may progress to driving fire engines and other vehicles. Volunteer fire fighters train on a regular basis with other volunteers from our department and neighboring departments as well as with paid fire fighters.
