Description
The Moscow Volunteer Fire Department (MVFD) is 125 years old and it is stronger today than ever in its history. Currently, the MVFD has over 100 volunteers providing fire protection and ambulance service that covers 128 square miles and approximately 30,000 people.
We respond to over 2800 emergency calls a year.

Requirements
To join our EMS division, we require current NREMT certification,
You can sign up to take one of our EMT classes (offered 2-3 times a year)!
For Fire, we provide all training. A basic physical agility test, interview and physical is required.
We accept applications for volunteering year round. We interview and onboard 2-3 times a year (February, May, August).
Applications for volunteering in are accepted year round.
