Howard Volunteer Fire Company seeks volunteers for all aspects of running the company. From fundraising help (Punkin Chunkin Fall Fest, chicken BBQ's, catering in our event venue, selling tickets for and staffing annual gun/cash raffle, etc.), through admin, financial, carpentry, electrical, have, plumbing, engineering to firefighting and EMS. There is something for everyone to do. You can choose your own comfort level. No pressure to do more than you wish. Every bit helps. Willing to provide Fire ground support, but not go in a burning building? We can use you! Willing to help at Averell, but not willing to fight fires? We can use you! Willing to wash disgracing a dishwasher, but not cook? We can use you! Willing to do it all? We can really use you!
