The Sonoita-Elgin Fire District is looking for dedicated and eager people who are interested in gaining experience in the EMS and firefighting career fields. Recruits will be able to work on ALS/BLS ambulances, wildland brush trucks, structural firefighting engines, and water tenders. We offer on shift training as well as monthly training days and opportunities for financial sponsorship for fire academy, EMT/Paramedic school, and continuing education courses.
