Frenchtown Township Fire Department is actively seeking those that are interested in starting an exciting career in the Fire Service starting as a Paid on Call firefighter/EMT. Full-time firefighter positions are only taken from our Paid on Call firefighter roster.

Frenchtown Township is approximately 44 square miles of beautiful landscape that is home to 26,000 residents. From its nearly 12 miles of lake Erie coast line to its commercial shopping districts, Frenchtown is a great place to serve the public.

Frenchtown Fire Department responds to about 2,600 calls annually serving in a variety of disciplines from fire suppression to Basic EMT level medical response. Frenchtown also responds to water related emergencies due to covering a vast portion of lake Erie along with USAR level capabilities and training. Currently there are 20 full time and 15 paid on call firefighters.
