We are so glad that you are interested in becoming a junior firefighter! Participating in your local fire department is an extremely rewarding experience that will provide you with valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and commitment and the opportunity to learn about your local fire, rescue, and emergency medical services response organizations in a safe, controlled, educational, and fun way.
If you wondering what you might do for work after school, this is great way to see if a career in firefighting or emergency medical services might be for you.
All the training is provided for free, in addition to other benefits such as college tuition assistance for coursework related to fire and emergency services.

Requirements
16 years of age or older
members should maintain at least a ā€œCā€ average
obtain full permission from the parent or legal guardian to participate in our programs
attend regular monthly meetings or events for youth program participants
Must be willing to learn and be a team player
