Description
Responsible to perform and assist in: fire suppression, fire inspections, vehicle and fire station maintenance, hazardous material response, rescue operations, record keeping, CQI, and emergency medical services, fire and EMS training.
Work period is 12 to 24 hours daily. Shifts consist of either 6 am to 6 pm or 6 pm to 6 am, or a 24 hour shift, including weekends. Subject to emergency recall.
Hourly wage $20-25, depending on qualifications. No residency restrictions.

1. High School graduation or equivalent
2. One to two years experience as Firefighter/Paramedic
3. Wisconsin or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic.
4. Wisconsin Firefighter I Certification (NFPA-1001)
5. Wisconsin Fire Apparatus Drivers/Operator Certification
