Description
The Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department is searching for individuals who are willing to serve their community. The EVFD is actively looking for firefighters, EMT's and EMR's to assist in answering approximately 1,200 calls per year. Don't want to run calls? We are also looking for support personnel to assist with business operations and fundraising. Want more information? Requirements
Applicants must:
-Submit a completed application.
-Participate in an interview with the Membership Committee.
-Undergo a Pennsylvania Act 34 Criminal History Clearance.
-Submit a physical examination form indicating that the individual is capable of performing the work associated with the duties to be performed.
-Receive a favorable recommendation from the Membership Committee.
-Complete a probationary period of six to twenty-four months.
