All firefighters will be required to complete Firefighter Level 1 training within 1 year of joining the dept. Level 1 training is done at no cost to the recruit and can be done as classroom training or online. Estimated time for completion is 3 months. After 2 years firefighters will have to complete Firefighter Level 2. Additional training will be offered as the firefighter advances in training and experience including Fire Officer training. All training is no cost to recruits.
