Description
The Lloydsville Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% volunteer Fire Department located in Latrobe, PA. The Fire Department is part of Unity Township and covers 27 square miles of the township. The Lloydsville Fire Department runs Fire and Rescue calls and assists the local EMS agency with medical emergencies when called. We run approximately 400-450 calls per year.
We are looking for dedicated individuals to serve in the following roles:
Firefighter (EMT certification is not required, will pay for training if interested)
Associate Members- Members who may not want to be firefighters, but would like to help with fundraising activities.
Junior Firefighters- Members who think they might be interested in firefighting and want to start a firefighting career.

Requirements
Junior Firefighters- must be between 14 and 18 years of age. These individuals must have working papers in accordance with PA child labor laws. Junior Firefighters will also get written permission from their parents to join the department.
Firefighter- Must be 18 years of age. Be able to pass background checks in accordance with department and state policies.
Associate Members- 18 +, Must be willing to assist with fundraising and other activities that support the department. Must be able to pass applicable background checks in accordance with state and department policies.
