Description
The Village of Holly Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Paid-on-Call Firefighters.
This part time position responds to alarms and requests for service, acts in emergencies such as storms, medical emergencies, extinguishment of fires, and performs service work as directed. You will work under the supervision of the Fire Chief and/or their designee.
Employment applications and the Waiver of Liability are available to download from the Village of Holly website at hollyvillage.org/employment/
Completed employment application and waiver of liability form should be returned to the Fire Department at 313 S Broad St or emailed to info@hollyfiredepartment.org. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful passing of a interview with fire department personnel, physical exam, drug screen, and background investigation.

Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must have a High School Diploma, be at least 18 years of age, live within five miles of the Village limits, have no criminal record, successfully pass a physical agility test, clean driving record, and no prior felony convictions.
Michigan Fire Fighter I&II and Basic EMT are highly preferred, however, all individuals meeting the minimum qualifications as described above will be considered. Once hired non certified applicants will receive required training.
