The Northwest Rockingham Fire Department is made up of dedicated men and women that are 100% volunteer. Our Fire department provides fire suppression and emergency medical care to the citizens of the fire district. The Northwest Rockingham Fire Department responds mutual aid with Mayodan, Stoneville, Northeast Stokes, Madison, North Stonyview, and Shiloh Fire districts. The Northwest Rockingham Volunteer Fire Department is located North of the Town of Mayodan and west of The Town of Stoneville. The fire district is made up of many different communities such as Ayersville, Mayo Mountain, Beaver Island, Goins Town, Community Baptist, and Victory Hill. Starting November 2018 the fire district will change from a class 9/9E insurance rating to a class 6/9E insurance rating.
