MFD is looking for community oriented persons that want to help our community.. MFD also provides quick response (QRS) medical coverage to our community. MFD is also a all-hazards department for Mapleton Borough and surrounding Brady, Cass & Union townships. MFD in addition to fire suppression, also provides, rescue (vehicle, rope & water), wildfirefighting, and hazardous materials operations response. MFD also has an active community education presence. We are also proud to say that our Junior Fire program is still going strong with 5 current juniors and was started in 1974.
