Applicants must reside within the boundary of the fire district and be in good health and reasonable physical ability. Applicants must be able to maintain certain state and national certifications concerning FEMA and Homeland Security courses. Applicants must also maintain a basic life-saving certification card from the American Heart Association.
Firefighters are required to attend bi-weekly meetings for training and apparatus maintenance.
