We are a paid per call volunteer dept. We have 25 members. 1 chief, 2 assistant chiefs, 2 captains (1 is the Fire marshal). Station 1 houses Engine 1, Engine 6, Brush 1, Engine 4 (Reserve), Rescue 1, and Car 1. Our fire jurisdiction precedes within the city limits of Ashdown and extends around 5 miles outside the city. Rescue 1's jurisdiction is the central to the eastern part of the county. We are responsible for all extrication and rescue in that area of the county.
