Are you interested in pursuing a career as a firefighter, EMT or paramedic? By completing our FREE firefighter 1 training you're part of the way there. Gain some experience and keep your certificate active with us while you pursue further training.

Primary Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency and non emergency calls for service. To include motor vehicle accidents, medical calls, wildland fires, residential fires and alarms, downed power lines, roadway obstructions, and much more.

Requirements:
Be at least 18
Be a resident of Glades County
Valid driver's license
Drug free
Capable of working in a team or independently
Willingness to complete FREE training both classroom and practical that is offered on a shift friendly schedule

Certifications Required:
All certifications and equipment are provided at no cost
