Description
East End Fire Department is a progressive volunteer combination department. We respond to between 800-1000 calls a year, 75% medical, 25% fire. We have three fire stations, 3 engines, 1 rescue, and 2 brush trucks to cover our 50 square mile area. We work hard, train hard, and play hard as a family, this job can get pretty serious at times, so you have to have fun when you can. If you are looking to get into being a volunteer firefighter or transfer from another department because of a move to our area, we are the department you want to be on.

Requirements
A- Must live in the East End Fire Protection District.

B- Must be able to pass the following Arkansas Fire Academy Classes within one year both physically and academically:
1. Intro to Firefighting, 12 hours
2. Personal Protective Equipment, 12 hours.
3. Wildland Fire Suppression, 8 hours.
4. First Responder or EMT certification.
5. CPR.
6. HAZMAT Awareness, 8 hours.
7. FEMA- ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 classes, 2-3 hours each
