We offer an Explorer program for youth that are interested in becoming firefighters. The program is designed for teenagers ages 14-18 who wish to learn about fighting fire, responding to various emergencies, and those who want to help the community. Fire service Explorers are trained alongside firefighters and officers gaining them the knowledge and experience they need when its time to become a firefighter, Explorers can also show solid volunteerism on college applications. Becoming an Explorer is a great way to make new friends, be part of something bigger, and have a feeling of belonging.
