Mile High Rescue Squad EMT Reserves are the volunteer EMT and Paramedics that support the Mile High Rescue Squad Special Event Medical Services Program. Reserves are also key in mentoring our explorers in a career in Emergency Medical Services. Reserves also have the potential of being hired on to MHRS as a full time paid staff member with Mile High Rescue Squad. EMT Interns with Mile High Rescue Squad get real life hands on experience with the other first Responders with Mile High Rescue Squad in having a career in EMS. Our interns get real life hands on experience learning the basics to get their career off to a great start. Interns will learn things such as sick vs. not sick and much much more. Interns also get experience in using patient contact forms, communications, etc. Interns will focus on the importance of quick effective patient care, patient assessments, and decisions.
