Description
Blooming Grove Volunteer Fire Department is looking for citizens interested in becoming volunteer firefighter, emergency medical responder or both. Once qualified as a member the department will provide all necessary training, protective equipment and alerting devices to the member at no cost to them. Blooming Grove Fire Department is an all hazards department, meaning we responding to all fire, medical, rescue, hazmat and industrial incidents. We also participate in all aspects of community relations and public education.

Requirements
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Membership is open to all citizens in our 55sq mile response area, Who have a valid class C (or grater) Texas drivers license. Applicants must also pass a TxDPS background check, Drug screen and physical prior to employment. Once qualified as a member the department will provide all necessary training, protective equipment and alerting devices to the member. BGVFD members incur no out of pocket cost after the application process.
