Description
Volunteer Firefighters work alongside and train with our career personnel in all aspects of fire suppression, medical/rescue, prevention, education, as well as the daily station duties when on shift. As our area grows, the demand for our services has increased, and our volunteer personnel greatly enhance our abilities and capabilities to assist the citizens of our response area.
Ancillary members support our team in a variety of ways including; Rehab on extended operations, photography/videography, or other skills not involving firefighting or patient care.

Requirements
A willingness to help the citizens (customers) of our community, in all weather conditions, and sometimes hazardous situations. Should be physically fit for the duties preformed.
Must be of good moral and ethical character. No felony convictions, and no misdemeanor convictions for illegal drugs, DUI, assaults, etc. A background check is required. A clean driving record with valid drivers license is a must.
Minimum age 18, for fire and ems personnel. Minimum age of 16 for ancillary members, including Jr. members.
Certification through the State Firemans and Fire Marshals Association and certification of at least Emergency Medical Technician Basic, is preferred but not required to become a member. Neither is required for ancillary personnel.
Residence should be in or near our response area.
Must meet training and minimum participation requirements.
