Minimum Requirements
• Must be 18 years of age at the time of application.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
• Possess a valid Washington State Motor Vehicle operators license.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or a registered permanent resident alien with
authorization to work in the United States.
• Have no disqualifying criminal citations in driving or criminal background
(e.g. reckless and/or negligent driving or DUI within last three years, any
Felony conviction).
• Must pass a written entry exam (Whatcom Recruit Academy), Physical
Ability Test (Whatcom Recruit Academy), medical screening, urinalysis
drug screening and background check.
