We provide the training needed to become an Emergency Medical Technician or earn Virginia Firefighter certifications. This rewarding commitment provides challenge, achievement, self satisfaction, teamwork, camaraderie, feelings of helpfulness and other benefits.
Persons who are dedicated, able to commit the time and willing to learn will find Fire and Rescue an excellent volunteer activity. Hanover Fire – EMS welcomes ages 16 and up, teenagers to seniors and retirees. Your interest and energy may help us respond to emergency calls. We also have some Administrative, “non operational”, positions and welcome volunteers with the skills needed to “run a business”. We encourage your visit to learn more.
