Kensington Fire-Rescue is actively seeking firefighters, medical response technicians, emergency medical technicians, fire/police and administrative members.

Requirements
ALL PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS:

Must be at least 18 years old age.
No previous experience is required.
Application process to include criminal background check.
FIREFIGHTER and MRT/EMT:

Passing of department entry physical.
Completion of basic orientation training, including CPR, Infection Control and Introduction to Kensington Fire Rescue Standard Operating Guidelines and Procedures.
Completion of Firefighter-I and or Connecticut MRT/EMT program.
Attendance at weekly drills, monthly meetings and special events.
FIRE POLICE:

Passing of department entry physical.
Completion of basic orientation training, including CPR, Infection Control and Introduction to Kensington Fire Rescue Standard Operating Guidelines and Procedures.
Completion of Connecticut Fire Academy Fire Police Procedures program.
ADMINISTRATIVE MEMBERS:

Posses administrative skill required by the department.
