M.P. Rice Hose Company 2 is currently looking for new members 18 years of age and up. Check out our 2015 Recruitment video. If you or anyone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter and/or EMT, there are 3 ways of contacting us.

1. You can send us a message here on Facebook with your name and contact number.
2. You can call our station at 203-315-3906 and leave a message with your name and phone number
3. You can stop down to our firehouse at 341 Main St. any Monday evening between 6:45 pm - 7 pm.
Training starts at 7PM you could always follow along to see what we do, and ask questions to any of our members.

Company 2 is the oldest and busiest volunteer fire company in Branford. We go on approx. 500 calls for service a year all over the Town of Branford as well as I-95 & sometimes provide mutual aid to our neighboring towns.

Also there are 4 other volunteer fire companies throughout the Town of Branford who also need new members. Some of those companies you need only be 14 years of age to join
