HELP WANTED! – Volunteer Firefighters
Your Fellow Citizens of Williamson County NEED YOU!
Williamson Fire-Rescue represents a partnership between the three volunteer fire departments (Arrington Volunteer Fire Department, Williamson County Rescue Squad and Williamson Fire/Rescue) and Williamson County Government to ensure those that work, live, and play in Williamson County are served and protected by the best possible fire service system.
There are thirteen volunteer fire stations are located throughout all areas of Williamson County. No matter where you live, there are volunteer fire stations near your community, they are: Arrington, Fairview, College Grove, Peytonsville, Flat Creek, Bethesda, Goose Creek, Primm Springs, Leiper's Fork, Franklin, Grassland, Thompsons Station, Burwood.
Who are volunteer fire fighters? One of our fire fighters put it simply… “We are caring fellow citizens of Williamson County, willing to sacrifice our free time to protect our friends’ and neighbors’ lives and property. We stand for doing what’s right in our communities. Will you please consider joining us in serving our communities emergency needs?”
We are kicking off this major recruitment drive for new Volunteer Professional Firefighters. No experience needed! All training and equipment will be provided, all that is needed is someone who wants to make a difference!
