Description
Respond to fire, rescue, and medical calls of service from home and the fire station. Attend training at the fire station. Normal schedule for training is one night a week for 4 hours.

Requirements
Minimum age of 18. Possess a valid NC Drivers License (Class C minimum). Complete a criminal background check. Residency requirements of 10 miles from fire station or highways 110 & 276 intersection.
Minimum certification of NC Medical Responder. Once accepted to membership all fire, rescue, & medical training will be provided through Haywood Community College. Most at no cost to the applicant.
