Description
Becoming a Volunteer Firefighter or Emergency Medical Technician requires significant commitment, but comes with great reward. King and Queen County Emergency Services is a combination department with a need for dedicated operational volunteers (fire fighters/EMT/Paramedic) as well as non-operational personnel for administrative, office management, and community education initiatives.

Junior membership- 16 years of age with parental permission
General membership-18 years of age
Background checks:
Criminal record background check
DMV driving record check
Reference check- personal reference and employment
Ability to meet the physical requirements of a firefighter/EMT
Willingness to commit to training and education time and weekly on duty time
