Volunteering as a Firefighter or Emergency Medical Technician with the Bailey's Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department can be very rewarding. Knowing that you've made a difference in the lives of the people you've helped is an excellent feeling.

As a firefighter/EMT you will prepare to and respond to emergent and non-emergent alarms that include structural fires, medical emergencies, rescues, assistance calls, environmental emergencies, and all other related events for which citizens may request services. We work in partnership with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (FCFRD), one of the most progressive fire departments in the Nation.

Significant time commitment is required.
