Description
We are a small volunteer fire department in the mountain community of Plumas Eureka in Plumas County, California. We provide fire suppression in the structural and wildland/forest environments, emergency medical response at the Basic Life Support level, and rescue services including extrication and low angle. We also need support members for non-emergency roles such as fund-raising, recruiting, and fire prevention. We work closely with the Graeagle Fire Protection District with joint training and response. We are recruiting for new members in the categories listed.

Requirements
For suppression:
Local residency, 18 years old minimum, CA drivers license, no criminal record, good physical fitness, ability to attend weekly training sessions Wednesday 6-9pm, occasional weekend sessions, complete Quincy Fire Academy over 5 Saturdays in April and May, complete Emergency Medical Responder or EMT-1 training and maintain certification within 24 months of joining.

Negotiable qualifications, training and time commitment based upon role.
