Description
A volunteer firefighter responsibilities are responding to calls involving all types of fires. Including grass fires, structure fires and other fire related calls. Firefighters will also respond to motor vehicle accidents and other calls of service. Firefighters will also help in rescue operations.

Requirements
Must be 16 years of age or older. No previous fire experience is required we will furnish the training. Must be willing to learn and have a positive attitude and willing to help members of their community.

Must live within the response area of North Lyon county Fire District 2. The boundaries are from road A to Road U and Road 310 to Road 400.
