Description
Volunteer Firefighters give back to their community by responding to numerous emergency calls such as structure fires, brush fires, motor vehicle accidents, CPR assists, rescue calls, aircraft landing zone requests, and many more. Firefighters have the opportunity train in innovative tactics with some of the best fire service leaders in the country. Certification education is available at no cost to volunteer firefighters.

Requirements
Must reside within immediate response area of the Arnaudville Volunteer Fire Department
Must be willing and able to respond to a minimum of 10% of emergency calls received in a given calendar year.
Must be willing and able to meet annual minimum training requirements set forth by the department.
Must be willing and able to attend the annual recruit academy OR obtain certification at the Fire Fighter 1 level.
No experience required.
