The Primary mission of the SFD is to provide a range of services designed to protect the residents of Howell Twp District No.3 and the surrounding communities. We have a rich history and tradition in the fire service and we are looking for men and women within the community to become volunteer firefighters. No experience necessary, all training and required equipment will be provided to you at no cost. This is a volunteer opportunity and carries no weekly paycheck however we have many fringe benefits such as free training from some of the best instructors and firefighters in the nation. You also can receive college credit for many courses taken at both the online and on premise fire academy classes. In addition to these benefits you may also qualify for a pension or savings plan that builds based on your commitment to the fire service. All we ask for is your time and dedication.
