Description
The North Thompsonville Fire Department is always looking for willing and able men and women that have a desire to volunteer and help your neighbors as well as be a member of a critical emergency service team. This can be a very exciting, perhaps one of the most exciting things that you have ever done. Give it a try - you will not regret it.
We have positions for regular members (over 18 years of age) and Cadet members as well (16-17 Years old).

Requirements
You must live within a 5 file radius of the North Thompsonville Fire District fire station in Enfield, CT. You must have a clean criminal and driving record and be able to pass a medical clearance (physical) provided at no cost to the applicant.
All you have to do is have the time - Everything else you need is supplied free of charge. That includes all safety equipment, training, and required physicals. We also offer a Volunteer Pension as well as property tax incentives offered by the town of Enfield and a bonus program offered by the Fire District.
