Description
New Milford Community Ambulance is currently accepting applications for new Volunteer Members. NMCAC offers an exciting opportunity for new EMTs to gain experience with a high call volume; averaging well over 2000 calls annually.

NMCAC prides itself in staying at the forefront of EMS technology by purchasing some of the most advanced equipment currently available. Our Ambulances are equipped with LifePak15 Cardiac Monitors, Zoll Z-Ventilators, LUCAS 3 CPR Devices, Stryker PowerPro 2 Stretchers and PowerLoad Systems. Some of our certified members are outfitted with a complete set of First Responder Equipment for their personal vehicles; including Automatic External Defibrillators, Portable Oxygen, and Trauma Kits in addition to ANSI Certified Turnout Gear and Motorola Portable Radios.

Requirements
Active Members enjoy free re-certification courses, meal & fuel incentives, private dorm and bath facilities, laundry & car wash provisions, and off duty house privileges.

Our Members are expected to provide coverage as "Duty Crew" and attend our monthly Meetings. We offer ongoing trainings in person as well as online.

Not certified as an EMT or EMR yet, no worries, we will help you get certified and will assist in the financing.
