Description
We are a group of volunteer and career firefighters that love what we do. We are always looking for dedicated and hardworking people to help serve the community by volunteering as a firefighter.
The fire service can take you as far as you want to go.
It is a rewarding feeling to know you helped someone that is having a bad day or to teach a child and adult about fire safety.
There is more to the fire service than just house fires, car wrecks, and medical calls it is about giving back to the community that we serve.

All training certifications that are required is Free.
Training provided includes:
MS Volunteer Firefighter Courses
NFPA 1001
NFPA 1002
EMR
CPR/AED

Benefits include:
Up to $100.00 a year off car tag
Retirement program for volunteers.
Benefits include:
(Length of Service Award Program) To be determined.
LOSAP $420.00 a month stipend for staffing stations.

Requirements
18 years old
MS Drivers License

120 hours service per year to maintain active status.
Plus minimum of 1 training meeting per month.
Staff the station 1 shift per month.
