Description
Toutle Fire Rescue is an all-volunteer fire department. We respond to approx. 500 medical/fire calls per year. Being a Volunteer is a 24/7 job – members have pagers and are “toned” out when someone has dialed 911. We respond to various emergency situations, and we train to be ready. The main station is in Toutle across from the school and the substation is located on S. Silverlake Rd. in Castle Rock

Volunteer members receive both fire and medical training, along with a stipend for call as well as the opportunity to work 10 hour shifts with our shift volunteers. Members are required to attend 50% of the drills and 20% of the calls

Requirements
Be 18 years old.
Posess a high school diploma, GED, or higher degree.
Pass a background check and risk assesment evaluation.
Posess a valid driver’s license
Maintain an insurable driving record with no criminal violations, and no more than three moving violations in three years.
Pass a fit-for-duty physical and drug screen.
Continually meet participation requirements and complete required training promptly.
