We are seeking those with an interest in firefighting and/or Emergency Medical Services. Founded in 1937,the Somers Fire Department has been operating for almost 85 years; but we can’t do it without your help!! Come join our team of highly dedicated and well trained members who are motivated by free training & equipment, state of the art apparatus. Typical candidates have the desire to help a stranger on their worst day, courage, assertiveness and the desire to work in adverse conditions.
