Fire Department Mount Joy has an exciting and rewarding opportunity to serve the citizens of Mount Joy in the prevention of fires and other life altering disasters. We are looking for volunteers to assist with public relations, public education and public service. Training and uniforms are provided. The Public Safety Education team works under the direction of a fire prevention officer and presents many programs to a cross section of our citizens. Events range from home safety inspections to school visits to employee training in fire safety, CPR and first aid. There are activities and programs throughout the year for many different groups.
