Description
The Campbell County Fire Department is recruiting Part-time Firefighters for all 10 of its fire stations. An open application period will begin on August 1, 2017 and will run through September 29, 2017.

The Part-time Firefighter Recruitment/Application Process is fairly involved, and it encompasses a period of several months. It consists of the following:

• Complete and submit an application packet
• Submit to Criminal and Driving Background Checks
• Attend an Orientation Session
• Take Pre-employment Classroom and Physical Agility Exams
• Undergo an Oral Interview
• Undergo Drug Screening
• Undergo Medical Physical Exam

New part-time firefighter candidates attend CCFD’s weekly Recruit Academy classes that run from February through May of each year. Requirements
Pre-application qualifications include the following:
* US Citizen
* Read, write, and speak in English
* High school diploma (or GED certificate)
* Valid drivers license and dependable transportation
* Must be at least 18 years old
