Paid on call fire fighters will respond to fires, medical emergencies, personal injury accidents (Motor vehicle crashes), non emergencies incidents, hazardous material spill/leaks and provide assistance to the general public.
Essential duties:
ensure all assigned station apparatus and equipment are in state of readiness
carries out duties in a safe and efficient manner
performs tasks during scene operations: including locating incidents, driving and operating apparatus, proficient use of equipment, tools and supplies to suppress fire, rescue persons, and provide pre hospital medical treatment and transport, and contain hazardous material spill or leaks.
performs maintenance of facilities, apparatus and equipment
delivers public education programs
prepares incident and associated reports
ensure personal conduct and performance conform to department policy and procedure
attends required monthly training and maintains all licenses.
