Join your local fire department! There is a job for everyone! We have weekly drills/practices every Monday (except the first Monday if it is the same week as the first Wednesday of that month). The first Wednesday of every month is our monthly meeting! Firefighting/EMS classes are paid for by the fire department if you are interested in going down one of those paths in your tenure. We have lots of fundraising events and we are like family to each other, it’s a brotherhood. There are jobs for everyone, whether you want to be just an EMT, or Fire Police, or the more traditional firefighting role. We are also happy to take people in that are just interested in helping out at our fundraisers and events whether you are interested in the firefighting/ems side or not.
