Northwest Fire Protection District is a paid per call volunteer department serving Northwest Rockford. We provide Fire/Rescue and non-transport EMS services. The district responds to 600-650 calls for service annually. Our personnel are required to commit to maintaining a 15% or higher call response volume, 2 shifts per month minimum and attend weekly training. Other duties include light station maintenance, some station manning and personnel have the opportunity to serve on committees such as training, recruitment, retention, SOG, association and more.

We are specifically looking for individuals that can run daytime calls and are IL EMT within Mercy EMS.
