Description
We are currently seeking members from our Community to serve in a myriad of capacities. We in need of motivated individuals that would be willing to fill the role of Firefighter, EMT, Administrative help and/or support our fundraising and community education efforts. We are 1 of 6 Volunteer Fire Companies in Caroline County, VA that is within our combined system of Caroline County Fire and Rescue. Caroline County provides all training and equipment at no cost. We have a stipend program and other recruitment and retention plans in effect to help support our members. Our Company runs 1 Engine, 1 Squad and 1 Brush Unit and averages well over 1,000 calls a year making our station the busiest in our system annually. We require 24 hrs. of activity monthly to stay active within our Fire Company. We can be found on Facebook (LVFC2) and at ladysmithfire.org.
