The Unicoi Volunteer Fire Department is currently seeking new Jr. Firefighter Recruits. This is a volunteer only position designed for ages 14-17 years old. Duties would include, but not limited to, participation in required training monthly and yearly to include any/all new recruit training requirements for Jr. Firefighter members, perform entry level firefighter tasks (non-hazardous) under direct supervision from fire officers, attend monthly meeting when available, use volunteer time with the department to count toward any required community service hours needed to graduate high school. more information will be provided upon inquiring.
