Description
The King County Incident Support team is part of the 8 King County, WA volunteer Search and Rescue units. KC IST specializes in assisting the Incident Commander of a Search and Rescue Mission at the command post by:
*Communicating on VHF/UHF radios and logging the radio traffic
*Developing and printing maps to be used by field searchers
*Logging position updates of field crews
*Preparing briefing and debriefing packets for field crews
*Requesting SPOT reports as needed
